About KindShare

KindShare is a free community sharing platform where neighbours give away items they no longer need, borrow tools instead of buying them, volunteer locally, and share skills — with no money involved. It launched in 2025 in Newport Beach and Orange County, California.

Who runs it: KindShare is operated by Kindness Community Foundation (KCF LLC), registered in California at 4110 San Joaquin Plaza, Newport Beach, CA 92660. Contact: contact@kindnesscommunityfoundation.com.

Why KindShare exists

Most of what we own sits unused. Most of what we need, a neighbour already has. And the platforms that were supposed to connect neighbours either charge fees, sell attention to advertisers, or have been left to decay. KindShare was built on a simple belief: generosity works better than commerce for the things communities share — and a platform for generosity should itself be generous: free, ad-free, and honest.

What makes KindShare different

How it stays free

KindShare is funded and operated by Kindness Community Foundation as a community service. There is no revenue model on the platform itself: nothing is sold, no ads are shown, and no data is monetised. That is a deliberate choice, not a temporary one — it's in our Terms of Service.

Where we are today

KindShare is newly launched. We're honest about that: the community is small and growing, and the first members shape what it becomes. If you're in Orange County, join free, list the first item on your street, and help start something good.
